Our tranquil gardens are a wonderful place to relax after a day of outdoor adventure, they are situated in a sheltered and peaceful hollow on the property.

A pathway leads you through the garden over a small stream, and into the courtyard where you can sit and enjoy the peaceful tranquility, read, chat or enjoy a drink. The gardens are a perfect place to contemplate and unwind with a glass of wine.

This is home for many woodland creatures, you will watch in fascination as they go about their daily chores. Their energy is endless as they chase each other around and compete for food.

Hidden away in a quiet corner of Seascape Gardens a spa tub awaits you! Surrounded by grape vines and honeysuckle creating a private oasis, it is truly a place to unwind as the stress of everyday life evaporates. Soft lighting adds to the ambiance of the gardens and extends the time you can spend here

Pathway to the Shore

A gently sloping pathway from the cliff side takes you down to the shore below. There are benches to sit and watch the lobster fishermen haul their traps, eagles fly by, see the gannets providing a dramatic display as they dive for food, a blue heron stands silent and still at the edge of the bay, ducks blend in amongst the seaweed and rocks. The clumps of grass overhanging the cliffs are home to king fisher and swallow nests. Further out in the bay if you are lucky you can spot pods of pilot whales passing by.

Winter at Seascape Coastal Retreat

After a day of adventure in this winter wonderland, spend your day snow shoeing on the many trails in & around Ingonish, or spend it skiing at Ski Cape Smokey, then upon returning to your warm cozy cottage you can relax in your private hot tub or in front of the fire  as you watch the sun go down over the ocean and the stars come out.
